Usually, you use your tongue to taste ice cream or talk to your friends. But archaeologists in Egypt found mummies from the Roman era who had a very sparkly secret: their tongues were made of solid gold! Actually, the gold tongues were special amulets placed in the mummies' mouths to help them "talk" to the gods in the afterlife.
